Methods:29 cases were involved in the study, which were first positioned by signs and symptoms,anatomy,X-ray fluoroscopy and electric stimulation, then were treated with radiofrequency thermocoagulation under general anesthesia with propofol. Results:The post-operative successful rate was 100%.The immediate relief rate of pain was 100%.The relapse rate was 0 after one to five months follow-up. 1 case was complicated keratitis(3.4%). Conclusion:Radiofrequency thermocoagulation with four methods positioning under general anesthesia with propofol for treatment of trigeminal neuralgia is a simple, safety, convenient and effective method.
